A holiday with your dog

Holiday by the sea with your pet!

The beach is undoubtedly the best place to spend time with your dogs: they can often run loose, race and play there. We have a large selection of holiday homes where 1 or more pets are allowed. Do dogs have to be leashed on the beach?

From April 1 to October 1, dogs must be leashed on the beach or beach access paths during the day (between 9 AM and 7 PM). That leash should not exceed 1.5 meters in length.

Exceptions

There are exceptions, though. Certain sections on the beach are also designated as dog walking areas. The leash requirement does not apply there.

The following beach areas are designated as dog walking areas:

between beach post 8,100 and beach post 9,400;
between beach posts 10,500 and 11,100;
between beach posts 14,500 and 17,100;
between beach posts 18,400 and 20,000.
