Park Lijsterbes

Park Lijsterbes in Sint Maartensbrug is the ideal base camp for excursions. The lovely sandy beach of Sint Maartenszee is within cycling distance. You can reach the beach within 10 minutes by bicycle!  For this you will need to cross the unique raft bridge of the Noordhollandsch Kanaal. Park Lijsterbes is located in the heart of the flower bulb area of North Holland. During spring, you can cycle through the beautiful fragrant and colorful flowering bulb fields.  

There are numerous possibilities for excursions in the area, so you won't have to get bored! The pleasant town of Schagen (with the summer West Friesland Folklore Markets) is eight km away. Or visit the famous cheese market in Alkmaar (20 km). 

A simple day at the sea is often enought to give you a blissful feeling. You don't need any more that that.
